So now the question is, what do you plan to fill that hole in your display case with??? Did you sell it private party or at a gunshow/shop? I'm sure the aggravation of not finding a solution was eating

some may not go back and read the entire thread but in it the point is made that cleanliness is important. I also had an issue when I changed grips. By tightening the grip screw to much I created

My PPK also gets dirtly very quickly. I think polishing and keeping it clean is my best defense from these failures right now. I have also become pretty good at quickly clearing the failures though.

Iv'e fired every conceiveable/available type of .380 since it's return without fail. S&W claim all they did was polish the ramp when they got it. The gunny that looked at it before the return

Yes, did they change any springs or do any work on the ejector or slide rails? Does it feel tighter or looser and do you feel any difference in the magazines? Your story is an interesting one considering how unreliable these have been of late.

Gun continues to perform flawlessly since it's 4 week vacation @ S&W. Haven't found anything it won't fire yet. It has become my carry weapon whenever the Florida heat won't allow for the larger cal./size Kimber.

I put a lot of effort into breaking my PPK safety/decocking lever in so that I could more easily get the safety off. It was extremely stiff when new. Now it works just fine, but I am concerned hearing
