  The Tec-9 being involved in that "assault weapon ban" BS makes me wonder on its status nowadays and whether this gun can be in carried in a vehicle.
True on the Texas law....since 2005, I believe.

  Dang, I didn't see this question till now. My understanding is that in Texas a gun may be carried in your vehicle loaded but must remain concealed at all times, whether you are in the vehicle or not. ... more »

  Tec 9 in like new condition with 2 mags could bring $400.

Others would know better about TX laws.
Firearms laws can get 'real weird' from one place to the next.

  Not sure where to post this, but thoughts on the Tec-9 9mm gun. Bought this gun many, many moons ago. Any idea on its worth nowadays and can this gun be carried legally in a vehicle in Texas ?
