That's a great safe! Looks like you can move the shelves around. Are you gonna be able to get long guns in, hope so, that really looks to be perfect. You've done well.

If it don't work out bring it on down to South Texas and I'll take it off your hands. LOL

  Hey Beltbuckle,
When you get that bank vault over to your house, how about a picture or 2 for us to admire and make rude comments.
Does it have wheels?
Does it have a motor?
Can you get a crane to lower it through a hole in the roof?
I still want a baloon.

the only thing to fear, is running out of ammo

good place to check around at is any cabella's sport shops, they sell thier own brand, plus a few others. When shopping for a safe you usualy want to look at a size that will accomodate you NOW and has room to expand on, no fun in spending $1,200 ... more »

Buy the largest Safe you can afford. Even if it's not filled to capacity, it eventually will. I purchased a Sentry 14 gun safe thinking I would keep my collection small. Even after promising my wife that "this would be my last rifle," ... more »

Here's the information you asked for:

http://www.gunsafestore.com/goldseries.htm

This is a fantastic gun safe but that perfection comes at quite a cost! You're going to spend alot of money for one of the best safes on the market. Nothing wrong with that! Back to the old saying, "You get what you pay for".

What kind of Prices are we talking about, lets say for the Fireproof Gold Browning 14 Long Rifle Safe, The Floor Model? The Site does not say.

  Alot of people tend to forget this aspect of a gun safe;

FIRE RATING

One very important thing to me, some have good ratings alot dont. With the construction materials used today a house on fire can easily reach and sustain 1200 degrees ... more »

I think you could ease your current situation by sending me one of each firearm and half a shitload of your ammo. Then you could save alot of money on your safe. Doesn't that sound like a terrific option? Just trying to help Brother, lol!!

Have gun will carry.

I have some firearms and ammunition that I need to store in a safe place. I have found gun safes from $500 to $2000. Can anyone give me some words of wisdom?
